Solidarity Committee hands over activities to Norwegian organisation
The entire disability programme previously run by Solidarity Committee has been taken over by NAC.
The Solidarity Committee for Afghanistan has handed over large parts of its operations to the Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC).
The entire disability programme previously run by Solidarity Committee has been taken over by NAC. NAC has also taken over programmes for training and mentoring of midwives.
Solidarity Committee’s former clinics and hospitals are now run by other organisations. Education activities have been handed over to provincial education authorities.
Solidarity Committee’s focus is to support NAC in ensuring funding for the operations that NAC has taken over. At the same time, Solidarity Committee is exploring new ways to support the people of Afghanistan.
